In May, the streamer expanded its original family content slate with greenlights for coming-of-age drama Beyond Black Beauty and family competition series Play-Doh Squished. I was too busy at the time to call it out with the attention it deserved, so today I pulled it out of the pile and reread Chris’s post.

Before joining the company, she served as chief content officer for NBCUniversal/Snapchat joint-venture Indigo Development and Entertainment Arts, and was SVP of primetime programming at NBC Entertainment before that. A host of video clips featuring brief interviews with Mathis appear on the Oprah. AVOD platform Amazon Freevee (formerly IMDBtv) is promoting its content and programming co-heads, Ryan Pirozzi and Lauren Anderson (pictured), into top-level positions.Īt Amazon Studios, Anderson has been upped to head of AVOD original content and programming, with responsibility for Freevee and Prime Video’s FAST channels.
